What is linen fabric?

Linen is the oldest fabric, first produced in Egypt 10,000 years ago, with evidence from Georgia suggesting it may be 38,000 years ago. Made from the fibers of the flax plant, linen is used to make clothes, curtains, tablecloths, pillows, rugs, and more. The taller the flax plant, the longer the fibres, making linen the strongest natural fiber—far more durable than cotton. It thrives in temperate climates, maturing in just 100 days, and grows best under full sun with moist soil.

Our signature French Linen uses ethically sourced flax fibers and holds the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification, ensuring it's free from harmful chemicals and safe for your skin. This linen has undergone rigorous testing and is proven to be free of over 1,000 harmful substances.

What is special about linen fabric?

Linen is perfect for summer as it's absorbent and keeps you cool, allowing more air to flow around your body. Plus, it's quick to biodegrade and naturally resists bacteria and fungi. Ideal for both clothing and bedding.

Our 100% pure flax linen is elegant yet classic. It's durable, breathable, and adds a touch of sophistication to any design. Enjoy the luxury with our OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 French Linen—it's soft, holds its shape, and feels amazing!
